Writing and speaking in the press about career happiness

I have been a coach for five years and, before that, I was a journalist. During my journalism career I’ve written for everyone from Chat and That’s Life! to Grazia and Red.

My writing career spanned over 20 years working for magazines, newspapers and websites both as staff and as a freelancer. I began as a reporter on a local newspaper in 2001.

You may recognise me by my maiden name Jenny Stallard. And if you’re a member of the Facebook group No1 Freelance Media Women, yes, I’m ‘that Jenny’!

Thanks to my writing background, I do write articles about the world of work and careers. I also speak to journalists for their articles, offering advice and quotes as an expert.

If you’re a journalist or commissioning editor and want to ask me for quotes for your next article on careers, work or business, please do get in touch.

In my 20+ years as a journalist I’ve spoken to and quoted a lot of experts - including a lot of coaches!

I know what it’s like to need a reliable, intelligent, informed expert for a piece. Someone who also knows how you might need the quote in the next ten minutes!

I’m a unique blend of a coach who is super-quotable and a journalist who understands the pressures and nuances of working with experts to quote in features.

If you’re writing about careers and work and want insight from an expert, I can offer a quick turnaround - and the coverage I’ve secured so far backs that up.

I have been quoted in Psychologies, Forbes, Stylist, Yahoo! Finance, iNews, Creative Boom, Fortune, the independent, JournoResources, Business Insider and Management Today.
