Hello, I’m Jenny, a career coach on a mission to help you find happiness in your career, whatever your job and whatever stage you’re at. I work with people who want to make changes in their working lives, be that for promotion, a new job, or a pivot into or from freelancing and self-employed life.

It’s likely if you’ve found this website then you are feeling lost or, to use a very specific psychological term, ‘meh’ about work. You might be in a place where you know there is more – more you want to do and achieve – but you aren’t sure where to focus on and what to do next.

We can work together to help you untangle all the ‘feels’ and find a clear way forward with your career or small business that works for YOU!

The Career HappinessCoach

  • "The best decision I ever made"

I was at a career crossroads and felt overwhelmed and uncertain about the job hunting process. I needed someone objective, with real industry insight, to help focus my efforts and guide me through the practical steps of writing an effective CV. When a colleague recommended Jenny, it gave me the confidence to try coaching for the first time — and it was the best decision I ever made.

Jenny helped me identify my core values and strengths, which ultimately helped me find my ideal role. Our weekly sessions were invaluable — talking through challenges like overcoming imposter syndrome and pinpointing the type of workplace I truly wanted gave me clarity and momentum. Within weeks, I was applying for jobs with renewed confidence and purpose.

What really sets Jenny apart is her active involvement in the industry. I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone feeling stuck or ready for a career reboot. When it comes to crafting your CV and cover letter, there’s no substitute for the human touch — someone who can help you tell your unique story in a way that stands out amongst a sea of applications.

  • Great CV Workshop

Jenny is a great freelance coach, I would recommend her services to anyone. Over our coaching sessions, Jenny provided practical advice and brilliant tips on how to secure new clients, and helped me address concerns and worries about particular working scenarios. Her CV workshop in particular was invaluable.

  • "Powerful questions asked"

Jenny is a fantastic coach. She has really helped me to see where I am and what has been getting in my way. From these conversations, and her powerful questions that she asked, she has allowed me to get out of my own way and put actions in place to help me move forward.

  • "Jenny has a lovely calm presence"

I've been really lucky to receive some great coaching from Jenny.  Jenny really focused on me - on what I wanted to discuss and achieve during the session - she asked some really searching questions and gave me space and time to think, which is so valuable when, usually, life runs at 100 miles per hour! Jenny easily helped me to see what I needed to do next. Jenny has a lovely calm presence and being coached by her was a fabulous experience. I highly recommend to anyone who needs to work things through and/or just needs some time to think about themselves and their business or work.

Jenny is an exceptional coach: she builds rapport with her clients and has a natural curiosity which means that she asks thought provoking and insightful questions which allow her clients to gain clarity on what they want to do next.
Jenny is a great relationship builder and is strong interpersonally supporting others throughout the training and demonstrating that she is a team player. She is committed to her own development and growth.

How we can work together to find your career happiness

Career happiness is different for everyone. One person’s desire for promotion is another’s yearning to go part-time, while a freelancer might crave a contract, and someone might want to go self-employed after years in a ‘safe role’. There is the ick of social media and LinkedIn to contend with too. For some, career happiness is about money, for others it’s about flexibility.

Coaching with me will help you focus on what’s right for you, what you want to really work on, and what goals you want to set.

Coaching is like untangling a ball of wool or erasing a messy doodle.

I’m a big fan of analogies! For some clients we look at all the things they want or need to do for work like cooking a banquet or roast dinner. For others, it’s about comparing a career pivot to training for a marathon. In those scenarios there is always someone offering ‘advice’ or ‘insight’.

Coaching cuts out the noise of everyone else. There is no well-meaning friend, no wine-quaffing colleague, no Instagram scroll to interrupt your thoughts. Just me, the coach, holding the space for you to explore what’s really going on for you, deep down inside.
